When Gerald "Gerry" Drew was born, he was diagnosed with a strange blood-borne disorder due to radiation exposure in the womb. Apparently, Jessica's powers had harmed her unborn child. When doctors and medicines were unable to help her son, Jessica recreated the experiment that cured her of her radiation poisoning, the experiment that made her Spider-Woman. The experiment imbued young Gerry with spider-like powers, but didn't cure him. Gerry's illness strained his parents' marriage and led to their divorce. Feeling responsible for the break-up, Gerry became withdrawn. Jessica tried to alleviate his pain by telling him stories from her past, his favorites involved Spider-Man.

Description: Indy finds himself in need of escape from the island of Malta. While searching for an artifact in the Catacombs of St. Paul in Rabat, Indy crosses paths with a Nazi ground expedition who are part of the on-going [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Malta_(World_War_II)]Siege of Malta[/url]. After several days of cat-and-mouse evasion, Indy finds sympathetic locals who provide use of a radio. Indy puts out an S.O.S. to Allied Forces, whom then send Blackhawk on a recovery mission. Indy makes it to the Allied air-base and is ferried to safety in England.

Description: Preston Jones was a sick little boy He looked at blades and thought them a toy His father was first, a knife in his back His mother soon followed, eyes full of tacks His sister and brother were next on the list Hacked to pieces, he swallowed the bits Away he ran into the darkness of Queens A bloody trail followed to show where he'd been. The body count grew, the police were perplexed With each corpse, the city grew vexed. They found him, they found him, one bright sunny day Asleep with a victim who he kept to play. They beat him and shot him and yet he survived. He animated his victim to the policeman's surprise. He made his escape wounded and bleeding. He's been trapped many times, stabbed and lynched He has always escaped, with the dead following him. Notes: I wanted to have this done for Halloween, but life got in the way. Moral Decay was a character I used when I played City of Villains.

Description: Comet Bradford Hilts grew up in a sterile and controlled environment. His Mother was an esteemed astronomer and Father a world famous physicist. He was blessed with his parents advanced intellect and became an astronomer like his Mother while also tinkering with mechanics. He devised an invention that he felt could benefit mankind and its thirst for energy. Bradford concocted a plan to harness the energy of a passing comet through an energy siphon connected to a deep space radar ground dish. His machine functioned with limited success. It did indeed pull some energy from the comet as it passed Earth, but instead of being able to store it in super capacity batteries as intended, it overloaded the mechanism and exploded. Bradford was bombarded with the space energy and instantly vaporized. His body was gone but somehow his consciousness remained. He was able to establish a psychic link to his Father. Together they created a machine that pulled all the dispersed energy together and Bradford�s body took on a human-like form, though essentially a glowing shower of energy. Through sheer willpower and determination, Bradford was soon able to gain the appearance of his previous human form, sans any hair. Through extreme effort he is able to maintain this state for up to 18 hours before reverting back to his energy form. After noting that he was constantly losing energy with each transformation, the Father and son determined a containment suit was need to keep him from the inevitable total dissipation of his energy form and subsequent probable death. The suit allows him to maintain and recharge his comet based energy at a predictable level. The suit also allows him controlled discharges of emery for flight and offensive blasts. Knowing his career as an astronomer was over, he decided to give a go at the heroic genre, having secretly admired the heroes of the comics that he hide from his studious parent during his younger years. Comet seemed an obvious moniker, so he adopted this as his own. At long last he could break free of his academic environment and be more of a free spirit. With his incredible powers he gained confidence he never was able to show to others. He relished his powers and the good he could now do for the general public. A chance meeting with the Shard lead to the formation of a team that went on to many major wins against some of the vilest of the villains. Second tier heroes separately, as a duo they became a level one team that is admired by most and reviled by criminals.

Apes in Space

Description: Crisis in the neutral zone! A high-level diplomatic conference with Klingon representatives goes awry. As diplomat [url=http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Kang]Kang[/url] and his entourage are beamed aboard the Enterprise disaster happens. Kang materializes along with three leather-clad gorilla humanoids, not his Klingon minions. Kang demands to know what trickery the Federation is up to as even those on the Bird of Prey cannot detect their comrades using sophisticated long-range scanners. The initially shocked gorillas soon take a liking to t Kang, as they immediately sense his distain for humans. After several hours, science officer Spock isolates the appearance of an anomaly that occurred during the transporter beaming. He is then able to replicate the occurrence and sets out to beam the gorillas back to whence they came, but not before the visitors pose for a digital photo with their new-found Klingon comrade (as seen in this image). The missing Klingons appear as intended at the instance the hairy humanoids disappear in the transporter chamber. The conference is immediately canceled, though later reports from the Klingons indicate that the lost members of Kang�s committee found themselves on a planet of apes for the duration of their disappearance.
