I've seen it before on TVland a few years back. I believe that slogan was used on a few Bugs Bunny cartoons as well parodying that show. I'm going to make some t-shirts without the slogan too, just in case someone only wants the logo. I tried to pick a dark blue shirt, to match Time-Rider, but this is the closest I found. There are lots of shirts and styles to choose from that you can put this logo on from zazzle with different colors available.

2 comments Tim Wed, 23 Jul 2014 15:13:58 +0000 Time-Rider Surfing http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/30134

by: Tim

Description: Made another pic for zazzle. No one would even see anything like it until the 1950's when that era's Chevy was introduced, but even then that wasn't a flying car, at least we believe no one had seen anything like this. Did the government tell the artist to sit on this poster as this one was the only one found? Another version of this World War II poster was released and looked exactly the same, but without the flying car. Some say the superhero Time-Rider actually works for the government and like his name indicates can literally fly through time in a flying car, but the government officially denies it all, of course. Time-Rider, himself has never answered any questions concerning the nature of his powers to the public. He simply grins and says no comment every time he's asked, which is the same thing he does when asked about his actual age. Interestingly enough the V for victory symbol, as everyone knows, is a part of Time-Rider's insignia

2 comments Tim Tue, 13 May 2014 18:51:13 +0000 Planet of the Apes http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/29030

by: Tim

Description: Time-Rider is in the middle of a battle on the Planet of the Apes but unbeknownst to him coming up from the rear is Brennon the swordsman. In fact the era he comes from is almost like a retro 1950's, an utopia best of both worlds society where everyone is treated equally and morality is sacred to the populace. Drinking and smoking are completely outlawed as well as anything deemed unhealthy. This drives Time-Bomb nutso as he revels in controlled chaos and hard living. Time-Bomb is a control freak. He doesn't like to play by the rules. He is also extremely violent and loves to blow things up. Controlled chaos is the only thing that makes him happy. He usually shows little mercy once he has defeated a foe, unless he thinks that their continued existence will offer him further amusement later on. He loves old music from our era especially the tune, Time Bomb by Powerman 5000 Extreme caution must be taken before approaching or attempting to apprehend the suspect.

4 comments Tim Fri, 30 Aug 2013 14:52:59 +0000 Time-Runner http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/28537

by: Tim

Description: I love parallel worlds so much I was considering making either an alternate world of characters, or just adding this one and a few others to the existing world. It's just for fun and it basically puts Time-Rider into the DC universe. Guys like him that time travel all the time and frequently run into parallel universes can basically show up anywhere. I tried to make sort of a duel trip into time as most of this issue was basically morphed from an old Justice League comic from the 80's and a bit of the Hex series. I've never seen an official explanation of how Jonah Hex ever made it out of that post apocalyptic future he was in during the Hex series. So I figured I might as well explain it. Let me know what you all think, if you all like it real good I'll try to do another one. I always wanted to do an story where Time-Rider meets Kamandi. And I quote: "A mysterious figure appears from nowhere in a split second in one frame, and quickly disappears in the next. I can only conclude that this man was either a magician or a time traveler attempting to assassinate Adolf Hitler. The bizarre twist to this story is that I have witnesses that place this man at the site of the Philadelphia Experiment during World War II, a sailor named John Martin in our timeline. I also have eye witness accounts of this man appearing and reappearing in the last twenty years." He went on to say that there were actual photographs of this sailor taken in the old west. This particular episode never made it to air, strangely enough, a few years later Lucas Vangon disappeared never to be heard of again. Some blame it on the government, but this reporter believes this is nothing more than a hoax made up like bigfoot sightings, or phony stories of UFOs in the sky. Roberta Shore as Mary Franklin, she also starred on Walt Disney's Shaggy Dog.
Order The Time Cruisers

3 comments Tim Thu, 14 Feb 2013 16:32:40 +0000 Samson vs Giant http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/27568

by: Tim

Description: Attempt, anyway, of depicting one scene from my book, The Time Cruisers where Samson takes on a group of giants. I only showed one giant. Thought I'd quit while I was ahead. In the book one of the Time Cruisers gets himself in a bit of a jam facing some Philistine giants. That's where Samson comes in to save the day. In the Bible of course it was David that slew the Philistine giant Goliath, but it stands to reason that there could very well have been many more giants in the Philistine army throughout their history, and that some of them could have possibly ran into Samson even though the Bible doesn't mention such an occurrence. There really is very little in the way of detail in Samson's life, but if I remember correctly he was judge of Israel for over twenty years. A lot of time for some quite interesting adventures, I would say.
The Time Cruisers

5 comments Tim Mon, 11 Feb 2013 19:28:50 +0000 Time Cruisers Poster! http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/27556

by: Tim

Description: In order to help promote my new book The Time Cruisers in The Exodus Trap, I'm creating some promotional merchandise including this alternate green colored Time Cruisers book cover poster available at Zazzle.com.

Order The Time Cruisers in The Exodus Trap
I've also got a blue poster at Zazzle.com as well. Time Cruisers Book progress My wife has been helping me edit my book. It's remarkable sometimes how many times you can read the same sentences and miss a mistake. I'm thinking I'm getting really close to wrapping it up. It's close to a 150 pages. Some of the things in the book include: John Martin of course, from an alternate time line. His life has went just a little different from the SU's regular Time-Rider. I'm hoping to post a story on the board later where our timeline's Martin runs into the book's version. Noah's Ark Parting of the Red Sea Samson vs Nazis the first Christmas lots of fighting between John Martin and Bastian Wolfe Character background on Bastian Wolfe new characters the Time Cruisers - Professor Jack Warren, Ronald Montgomery 16 year old genius, Mary Franklin (the girl Ronald loves from afar), and Roy Macintyre aka Mack football player/50's greaser/Ronald's rival for Mary. origin of the '57 Chevy time machine ATTA Alternate future where America is overran by Nazis. the Philadelphia Experiment dinosaurs It's basically based one of what I always wanted to see on the movie screen in a way. You'll see some obvious inspirations from movies in my book like Indian Jones, especially. I love idea of sending characters on a adventure or quest through time. I tried to give the reader a sense of exploration from the perspective of the characters while also hopefully creating a great sense of adventure. I tried my best to be accurate to the biblical times presented in the book while presenting little known facts and a few what if kind of scenarios to give a sense of what it would be like to find oneself actually there. I imagine time travel to ancient cultures would be somewhat of a shock in that things would not necessarily be as we think they should be. It's interested how sometimes tradition overwhelms what is actually written in the Bible, especially, when it comes to Christmas traditions. The wise men for instance weren't at Jesus' birth. They showed up nearly two years later, but we always see them in nativity scenes. Lastly at this point, the title of the book is The Time Cruisers and the Exodus Trap

5 comments Tim Tue, 22 Jan 2013 16:10:38 +0000 John Martin vs Bastian Wolfe http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/27347

by: Tim

Description: John Martin fighting Bastian Wolfe in a scene from my upcoming book that I'm still not sure what to entitle. I guess I just like the rain and the reflection. If memory serves me I spent a little longer on this one than usual. What do you all think? This time-line isn't even valid anymore in Time-Rider history from this issue, but I have been thinking about using aspects of it in a future story as alternate time-lines and parallel universes make up most of Time-Rider's dealings.

5 comments Tim Fri, 20 Jan 2012 22:16:21 +0000 Time-Bomb TR Villain http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/24736

by: Tim

Description: I hope nobody has come up with this name already, it just hit me so I decided to get a quick design down right fast. I grabbed a picture of Bullseye for my base and changed it around just a bit. Time-Bomb is a super villain from the future who can create blasts in his hands, or a ticking time bomb waiting to go off at his mental command. He's basically a mutant I guess although I haven't given it much thought on how he got his powers yet. He's the definite polar opposite of Time-Rider. While TR considers himself a simple country boy doing his duty, Time-Bomb considers himself a sophisticated know it all. He has visions of grandeur and coming from the distant future makes him think he will always be one step ahead of Time-Rider. Only time will tell who will win.

7 comments Tim Wed, 21 Dec 2011 22:52:56 +0000 ATTA: Secret Missions http://superherouniverse.com/art/showphoto.php/photo/24768

by: Jerod

Description: After receiving a disturbing report from Vortex about a darkforce anomaly, Cyber Jack and Time-Rider travel to a strange world inhabitated by apes.
