Time-Rider Meets Jonah Hex

Description: Been a long time since I did a comic, much less continued the Time-Rider series, but finally I got one done. Check it out <a href="http://superherouniverse.com/timerider/volume2/issue2/cover.htm"> Time-Rider Issue 2 Volume 2 The Hex Factor</a> I've been wanting to do one like this forever. It's just for fun and it basically puts Time-Rider into the DC universe. Guys like him that time travel all the time and frequently run into parallel universes can basically show up anywhere. I tried to make sort of a duel trip into time as most of this issue was basically morphed from an old Justice League comic from the 80's and a bit of the Hex series. I've never seen an official explanation of how Jonah Hex ever made it out of that post apocalyptic future he was in during the Hex series. So I figured I might as well explain it. Let me know what you all think, if you all like it real good I'll try to do another one. I always wanted to do an story where Time-Rider meets Kamandi. Just have to get the right pics together.

Description: This was actually one element of one phase of the development cover of the Time Cruisers blown up just a bit. I did a lot of practice variations. Can you see the Easter symbol? I noticed it pretty much right away when I was doing this, and I think I went over just a hair to make it a little more noticeable, but it was basically there the whole time. Description: ATTA File a 2010 unaired episode of Dateline taken from the alternate time line designated <a href="http://superherouniverse.com/wiki/T-Zero">T-Zero</a> The reporter begins - On a lost episode of the 1970's show "In Search Of" narrated by Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy, conspiracy theorist, Lucas Vangon seemed to prove by taking a rare vintage World War II era film of Adolf Hitler and slowing it down frame by frame that time travelers do indeed exist. And I quote: "A mysterious figure appears from nowhere in a split second in one frame, and quickly disappears in the next. I can only conclude that this man was either a magician or a time traveler attempting to assassinate Adolf Hitler. The bizarre twist to this story is that I have witnesses that place this man at the site of the Philadelphia Experiment during World War II, a sailor named John Martin in our timeline. I also have eye witness accounts of this man appearing and reappearing in the last twenty years." He went on to say that there were actual photographs of this sailor taken in the old west. This particular episode never made it to air, strangely enough, a few years later Lucas Vangon disappeared never to be heard of again. Some blame it on the government, but this reporter believes this is nothing more than a hoax made up like bigfoot sightings, or phony stories of UFOs in the sky. Although, one has to wonder whatever happened to Mr. Vangon, if that was indeed his real name. Description: What if my book The Time Cruisers were a movie featuring Agent John Martin and the Time Cruisers Matthew Fox as John Martin James Dean as Mack Tommy Kirk as Ronald Montgomery boy genius. This actor was famous for 1950's Walt Disney movies like the Shaggy Dog, and Old Yeller John Rhys-Davies as Professor Warren, I admit I totally used him as an example of how a professor would speak when I wrote the professor's dialogue. I watched a couple of re-runs of Sliders just so I could get his voice into my head. Samson vs Giant

Description: Attempt, anyway, of depicting one scene from my book, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BA5VDRS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00BA5VDRS&linkCode=as2&tag=supertv-20"> The Time Cruisers</a> where Samson takes on a group of giants. I only showed one giant. Thought I'd quit while I was ahead. In the book one of the Time Cruisers gets himself in a bit of a jam facing some Philistine giants. That's where Samson comes in to save the day. In the Bible of course it was David that slew the Philistine giant Goliath, but it stands to reason that there could very well have been many more giants in the Philistine army throughout their history, and that some of them could have possibly ran into Samson even though the Bible doesn't mention such an occurrence. There really is very little in the way of detail in Samson's life, but if I remember correctly he was judge of Israel for over twenty years. Description: Jerod sent this one to me a while back. I only changed the shirt and I took off the hat. I loved the V symbol on the belt buckle. This would be an excellent cover if it weren't for needing the original artist's permission. It really fits the classic swashbuckling mood of my book though, and the look on Martin's face like "watchout I'm coming through so don't mess with me" is a perfect representation of Martin who always hits what he shoots at.

Description: What do you all think about this as a possible book cover? Time Cruisers Book progress My wife has been helping me edit my book. It's remarkable sometimes how many times you can read the same sentences and miss a mistake. I'm thinking I'm getting really close to wrapping it up. It's close to a 150 pages. Some of the things in the book include: John Martin of course, from an alternate time line. His life has went just a little different from the SU's regular Time-Rider. I'm hoping to post a story on the board later where our timeline's Martin runs into the book's version. Noah's Ark Parting of the Red Sea Samson vs Nazis the first Christmas lots of fighting between John Martin and Bastian Wolfe Character background on Bastian Wolfe new characters the Time Cruisers - Professor Jack Warren, Ronald Montgomery 16 year old genius, Mary Franklin (the girl Ronald loves from afar), and Roy Macintyre aka Mack football player/50's greaser/Ronald's rival for Mary. origin of the '57 Chevy time machine ATTA Alternate future where America is overran by Nazis. the Philadelphia Experiment dinosaurs It's basically based one of what I always wanted to see on the movie screen in a way. You'll see some obvious inspirations from movies in my book like Indian Jones, especially. I love idea of sending characters on a adventure or quest through time. I tried to give the reader a sense of exploration from the perspective of the characters while also hopefully creating a great sense of adventure. I tried my best to be accurate to the biblical times presented in the book while presenting little known facts and a few what if kind of scenarios to give a sense of what it would be like to find oneself actually there. I imagine time travel to ancient cultures would be somewhat of a shock in that things would not necessarily be as we think they should be. It's interested how sometimes tradition overwhelms what is actually written in the Bible, especially, when it comes to Christmas traditions. The wise men for instance weren't at Jesus' birth. They showed up nearly two years later, but we always see them in nativity scenes. Lastly at this point, the title of the book is The Time Cruisers and the Exodus Trap
