True enough Wayne, but I needed an excuse to bring his sister in as his sidekick. I figure it as he's exhausted from fighting crime all night and he wasn't thinking straight.
Of course I don't have an excuse for why he didn't change at the clock tower instead of at home. Maybe he was completely disoriented :D
