A while back I bought a collection of pre-war Sci-Fi stories complied by Asimov. It great reading stories from the late 1930's. Mainly because they're so full of guess work about the planets. This is a story based on Venus.

That sounds interesting to see what people imagined about other planets before there were satellites and NASA.

In this case one side of Venus was too hot, the other side was too cold and the bit inbetween was muddy and covered with mold. :D
