This illustration is based on the popular Batman cartoon series back in the 90's. I thought it'd be cool to add Manhunter... one of my faves.
I remember reading the Manhunter series back in 1973 which began in Detective Comics and concluded after only seven or eight issues.
Manhunter made his final appearance when he co-starred with Batman in a full-length twenty page story and what a story!
Definitely one of the most innovative series ever conceived by Archie Goodwin and Walter Simonson.

Now that you mention Manhunter I have a question only b/c I don't know much of JLA history but was Martian Manhunter named after this Manhunter or the other way around?
