How long does it take you jojo to get one done? How long have you been drawing in general?

Tim,

I'm able to finish this sort of artwork in about 3 to 5 hours if I am in the mood. But sometimes if I get lazy, I do sketch first then inking the next day and coloring on the next. As for the years I have been doing this..well, sorry to inform you guys, I'm turning 41 next month and so I've been doing this for 36 years already....he-he-he...Hope I didn't give you a shock.

Not at all you've got some serious chops. I'm turning 28 in July I've been drawing comics since I was 10 and I hope to be half the artist you are in ten years your work inspires me to work much harder on my art. I'm saying you are hands down the best artist\member on this site!

Thanks Bono Fett, drawing comics characters have been a passion for me and sometimes I get frustrated that my dream to become a MARVEL or DC artist is not gonna happen. Probably I'm the oldest guy here, upon realizing that, my main objective became to share my knowledge to anybody, to inspire and to let anyone learn from what they see in my artworks. Feel free to ask me if somebody wants to learn anything about the trades here.

I know you use watercolors, what type do you use pencils or paints?
And what Ink are using India Ink or do you do pens? I love your style man really The Executioner piece you did was 200% over my expectations. You even got the tattoo right. Yeah I know about frustration too the last time I made submissions to DC I didn't even get a response.

Bono Fett,

I use paint type watercolor, I kinda like the effects I get from it. As for the ink, first I use technical pens on my outlines and then I use the same ink to darken the shadows by brush also.
Next for me will be DEADLAW and SUGAR SKULL.

jojo I'm pretty old too heading toward 40 in a couple of years, and I'm not near as good as you, but my dream is to be a writer. Problem is I don't seem to have enough time to perfect my writing. It's just one of those things that keeps nagging at me all the time. Every time I watch a show or a movie, I think to myself wouldn't be better if it happened this way or that way.

But I think the only reason you haven't been discovered yet is just luck. You have the skill. All you need is the right contact, or the right lucky break. Thanks to the internet I think you have got a real shot. Info travels at the speed of light these days.
