As a teen I didn't like the heavily stylized Kirby "muscle lines", thick shading, and some of the crazy poses he incorporate. I hated art of the 70s Mad Bomb era when it was Cap and the Falcon. I much preferred the more crude early to mid-60s stuff. Years later I now appreciate his iconic style of the 70s-80s and love it nearly as much as his 60s style. It dosen't get much better than Kirby no matter which style he's drawing in. It's all classic now! jerod
