'Curious Captain, the creature seems to be preceded by a Silver Surfer.'
'Surfer Spock?'
'Yes Captain an old mode of transport used to ride the oceans in the Earth early 20th century.'

That's so awesome! Anybody read the X-men Star Trek crossover a few years back?

There was a good novel cross-over in the 1990s. The Next Generation met the XMen after getting side tracked in the time-stream while leaving Earth's past directly after the Star Trek:First Contact Borg encounter. It was an interesting story, but I honestly remember many details after 10 years or so. Also did read the comic cross-overs at the time; great stuff! jerod

Jerod the book was titled Planet X and took place directly after the events of the comic titled Star Trek/X-Men Second Contact seeing as how it took place directly after the events of the movie First Contact and it was the second Star Trek/X-Men encounter.

I read the novel as well and sadly that book has been lost to me during one of my moves.

I'm going to have to dig my X-men Star Trek book out and read it again. I can't remember what happened.
