This painting was done in photoshop, pardon the roughness on some parts of the artworks as I was using a mouse. I still don't have a digital pen yet so I hope to improve on the next projects similar to this.

It's so good jojo I thought it was an actual photo of Darth Vader. I didn't know it was painted.

Absolutely amazing, this is So much better than the hand drawn "coming to life" vader , proportions, colouring & highlighting of the face is SO much more accurate.
Thought hand drawn would be easier. Truly great.

Do you have any "work in progress" stuff of this Darth, from start to end pic, like to see how it progressed.

I forgot to include the info when I sent the message. In truth, this is from an actual photo of Vader. I kinda traced the whole image in Photoshop using the pen tool, air brush and smudge tool. The tricky part here is that I didn't use a digital pen. I have the PSD file if you want, I can send it to you.

No its ok Jojo, i just wondered how you got the colouring & lighting so accurate with just a mouse from scratch, looks similar to my style (DOOMSDAY / BIZARRO, i use a mouse, blobs of colour smeared & smudged together) And i know its not easy getting Huge detail with just a mouse.
Still a good picture.
