Iron Fist first appears in PowerMan 48 and 49 as they take on the Bushmaster. In issue 50 it offically became the Power Man and Iron Fist title.

I like all the Jive talk plus Luke's constant use of the word 'Christmas' when you know he really wants to swear like a trooper.

That's one predictable event of all Marvel Comics. Superheroes have to slug it out at their first meeting. It's written in the Marvel Superhero By-Laws or something.

I'm sure that there is some complex sociological reason behind it. When they meet nature dictates that they should establish a pecking order to gauge who is the Alpha and Beta male/female of the group. As is so often the case in nature the conflict normally ends in a draw and so they except each other as equals within the pack.
