LOL.. actually i was 21 in 1983
i think i have one of wonder woman and supergirl too..
i will look for them.. i have boxes of drawings and old magazines...
once i find some i will post them...

Oh, I was thinking you were about my age for some reason. I was like 12 back then. I remember that was the year Superman 3 came out I think. You know that's a lot of years I've been reading comic books.

It's a really good example of a shallow focus and shading, especially on his hands, face and cape.
Now I'm curious: how big is the original painting, and did you have a photo (poster) you were painting from?

the painting is around 18 inches by 36 inches...i used a picture from a magazine i still have that came out after Superman II came out...
