Indy finds himself in need of escape from the island of Malta. While searching for an artifact in the Catacombs of St. Paul in Rabat, Indy crosses paths with a Nazi ground expedition who are part of the on-going Siege of Malta. After several days of cat-and-mouse evasion, Indy finds sympathetic locals who provide use of a radio. Indy puts out an S.O.S. to Allied Forces, whom then send Blackhawk on a recovery mission. Indy makes it to the Allied air-base and is ferried to safety in England.
