Counter-Spy
Counter-Spy is an android that first appeared alongside long-time Spy nemesis the Talon. Perhaps it was jealous (or envy), but no-one really knows why Counter-Spy took on the general appearance of the Spy. The news corps branded him his name due to the obvious physical similarities. In the initial encounters Counter-Spy was rather robotic in nature and movement. Over-time he seemed to “evolve” in the areas of movement and tactics; gaining what appears to be a major degree of self-awareness. As he became more human-like in all areas his parings with the Talon diminished, though have not entirely stopped. Counter-Spy now normally acts alone in his schemes, tough he does have a periodic partnership with the Aryan. Despite his obvious changes as an evolving cybernetic-entity, Counter-Spy lacks the ability (or perhaps desire) to speak for some unknown reason. This silent killer plies his trade in an inhuman fashion. Counter-Spy’s true origin is unknown, but it’s generally suspected to be a creation of the Talon. While in the genius range this still seems a stretch and the Talon has never claimed Counter-Spy as one of his high-tech creations, though he clearly had some control of the android in the early years. Counter-Spy has a strength level of approximately 10 tons. While endurance appears limitless, invulnerability is not. More-so it is a resistance to pain and damage that gives him an advantage. While a bazooka blast would probably disable him, Counter-Spy can survive multiple gun-shot wounds with little apparent result aside from external appearing damage. Bullet holes do appear, but his synthetic skin and mechanical constitution allow him to keep functioning for an extended time when seemingly mortally wounded. He does reach a point where retreat from further gun-fire is necessary, but often by that then his opponent is overpowered. It is unknown how his wounds are treated and-or “healed”.
