I spent a couple of hours on this one almost believe it or not. I was experimenting. I took a photo of Dean Cain and created a photo shopped sketch and printed it out then traced with a pencil trying to create shadows and so forth. Then I scanned it back into the computer, colored it and then cut out Dean Cain and pasted him onto a photo shopped filter sketch of the Moon and Earth.


I'm really curious to hear from you guys whether or not the extra effort of re-penciling by hand makes a difference in the appearance or not. Worst case at least I got some practice drawing a little bit. Maybe if I get another free Sunday I'll try to draw some real life models or something.

Some of the shadows on the costume look really good. Gives it a bit more definition.
