Went back more to the original concept of Time-Rider here. He's a little more swashbuckling. Included the flying 57 Chevy. This is pretty much where the character will be from now on. More high tech swash buckler than super powered hero. Although I think I'll keep the ability to perceive time differently than you and I which would allow him to have much quicker reflexes to aid in dodging bullets and fists.
What I'd love to do if I had time would be to make some stories where Time-Rider meets established heroes and characters like in this case Batman Beyond, but later on Kamandi, Planet of the Apes, perhaps travel to Smallville when Superman was Superboy etc just for fun. I see him not only going to different times but alternate time lines. I might even go back to sort of a lost in time concept, that is if I ever get time to work on it.
Oh and on the city background, I found that on the net. Wish I had enough time to developing my own city backgrounds, but it probably wouldn't look nearly as good as this background. Whoever did it, did a great job.

I'd love to read some more Time Rider stories Tim. Even if you just had him teaming up with other heroes on this site.
I do like the flying car and the more swashbuckling type. Some of your original concept pics of him with high tech gadgets were really cool.
Maybe since he was sent back to his own time and the whole situation pretty much erased except that he remembered it even though Jake didn't, maybe now he could start over and become this version?

That's kind of my thoughts Avenger. His next adventures can pretty much start over from scratch other than his girl and his friend. I was thinking of maybe teaming him up with a sidekick too. I know that sounds kind of gimmicky, but then I kind of wonder if it would be better to have someone from our time or farther in the future help him out. Time-Rider could be the one without the knowledge of the current time period, and the sidekick would be the one filling in the gaps for him and it gives somebody for Time-Rider to have to save all the time.
What really kind of stumps me is how to get Time-Rider to be able to be in the present to team up with all of our cast of characters and yet still do a lost in time kind of concept. I like the idea of him being a part of the Superherouniverse team of heroes and yet he's kind of a loner doing his own thing.

Yep, your drawing was in my mind when I was looking for a 57 Chevy to adapt to a flying 57 Chevy.

Like it. Always partial to the leather jacket look. I look forward (or is it backward?) to the new dierction. Sure you'll come up with some cool stuff. Funny you mentioned Kamandi as I just finished one for him based off #29.

You know Tim you could always do it as a parallel universe storyline. It is the present with our characters but a slightly different version who hasn't encountered Time Rider before.
