Disappointed in the outcome of the original Secret Wars, the Beyonder decides to give the concept a second try with a broader spectrum combatants. On an all-new Battleworld, the Beyonder tested the mettle of characters from multiple universes, different realities, and variant time-lines. This allowed unique parings of individuals with a wide range of abilities and experiences. In the end, none of the participants remember any part of the endeavor, thus preserving a degree of universal stability. Finally satisfied with the success of this experiment, the Beyonder then decided to keep focus on the Marvel Universe and explore their role on Earth in Secret Wars 2. The time in-between these known and recorded interactions with the Marvel heroes are presented here. These are the previously untold tales of the Secret Wars 1.5. All are invited to add to the story……

You got it, it's the Beyonder. I also kept the 3 moons in all the images to represent the fact that all the images take place on the same planet (Battle World).
