Mace Windu after his betrayal by Anakin Skywalker plummeted to his death, or so it was thought. Regaining his senses, Mace used his mastery of "shatterpoint" ans Vaapad to cushion his fall. He landed on the Republic News Network's roof. His severely wounded body was found by another survivor of Order 66, Anakin's former Padawan Ahsoka Tano.


Spiriting Mace off planet she was able to keep him alive. Eventually, his shattered body was "repaired" and augmented by rebel Techno Union med droids. Meeting up with the Bail Organa on Alderran, Ahsoka was reunited with R2D2. Together Ahsoka, Mace and R2 would go on several adventures, always looking for other survivors of The great Jedi Purge.
