How long does/will an image like this take you to complete? The reults of the program sure are good. Just curious how amny hours a general picture might take. Good stuff. Will be nice to see finished image.

First, thank you all for your comments.
Now the hard thing, Jerod. It depends. Without counting the time needed to create the hero/heroine several hours plus rendering time. The rendering could take 15 minutes for a quick "let me get an idea of how it is going to look" and then a final render which could take (on my PC) a couple of hours. Be not fooled the more crap you thow into the scene the render time shoots up dramatically.
Creating the hero, here is where the time is. From selecting and adjusting the props, clothes, pose, maps, textures... um forever if your not careful
Post work I do in Photoshop and, once again, how much do you want to do? Hell if you check out some real 3D artists they could work for months on an image.

Think I'll stick with my Photoshop style for now, but I sure do like the results both you and Tim get. I probaly spend too much on my images at times as I'm detailed to a fault on many of them. Some I research allot for too, so it all adds up. I've spent more time on the computer this last year than I'd care to admit. I'll blame it on Tim......
