Tearaus Superhero Fan Art

This character is the original brain-child of my best friend of youth, C John Schroder III. Tearaus was created while we were teens in the mid-80s. Johnny’s characters and mine crossed over frequently in our drawings, so I thought it was a good idea to revisit the good-ole days via the forum offered by Superherouniverse. Updated visuals are creative liberties of mine and I’ll admit I re-envisioned the origins as I can’t honestly remember his original concepts.

Tearaus
Tearaus is a powerhouse of a figure, though admittedly an odd-looking one also. Despite the strange horned helmet and generally non-descript body-suit, it is apparently an effective combination. His appearance and mannerisms have led some to believe he (or at least his suit) is extraterrestrial in nature. He speaks in an electronic voice, which adds to his mystery. Battle damage has confirmed though he is indeed flesh and blood beneath his high-tech body-suit. Whatever the true origins, the bodysuit provides for massive strength in the 70 ton range along with special protection from energy weapons. The fabric, while extremely durable, can be torn by excessive force as mentioned earlier. Tearaus’ only common partner of sorts is an occasional teaming with Harthang mostly based on a relationship formed during the short lived team they established. Tearaus prefers to stay out of the public’s view whenever possible.
