Michael Bay is not my favorite person at the moment. He says he's working closely with one of the creaters but its just not right, taking the Mutant out of the Turtles. Teenage Ninja Turtles just doesn't sound right. It might be a cool idea for a comicbook story and then maybe the movie would be interesting but I just don't know. Michael should stop where he is.

Changing the origin doesn't bother me like in huge amounts, but it is kind of weird to not incorporate the Mutant part of the Turtles. The ooze origin though isn't exactly super exciting though not like a gamma ray explosion, or a planet blowing up.

From what I understand they're going to shorten it to Ninja Turtles and take the "teenage" part out too. I think that's fine. I always just call them the ninja turtles anyway.
Also I'm not so sure they're going to become aliens. I think Bay said that they may have an "alien origin", which makes me think they're going to be turtles from Earth that were transformed by an alien substance.
