This was done in photoshop. Started out with a photo of John Cena, after that a lot of clone stamping, selection, and dodging, and burning. I've also been working with more blending options to add textures.

That's even more amazing. I thought for sure you might have used some kind of 3D figure software. The fact that you can pull that off with just photoshop is pretty impressive.
