The Gaurdians: Reboot #8 Superhero Fan Art

Our three heroes fly to the Relic's Planet. Kronos not too far behind. The Gaurdian's find the temple where the Relic rested for many centries. They search the temple for answers, something to stop the Relic. VH finds the answer but is attacked by Kronos. Jaguar and Omega jump in the fight. They gather together and VH tells them, "Get the Relic away from him. He's drawing power from the Relic, if we get it from him... We can kill him." They charge at Kronos but Kronos uses his own abilities to have the machines around him attack them. The Gaurdians are losing thie battle but can't afford to do so. They regroup and come up with a plan. Omega and Jaguar destract Kronos while VH gets closer. VH steals the Relic, tosses it to Omega then goes for a death kill. Kronos thrusts his arm into VH's chest. Kronos then throughs him at Omega's feet but descovers that VH had placed an explosive on his head. The exposive blows Kronos head into a million pieces. Omega and Jaguar try to save their friend but they can't save him. VH then explains that the relics power is so great that it can be used as a Reset Button. However it does come with a price. First, they don't know how far it will go back and second thing is that some of their lives maybe altered or changed. They don't know who it would be, when it would be or how long it would be. "Do we have the right to make such a desion?" Omega asks. VH replies, "Weither we do or not, you must. If you choose to do so, I promise we will all meet again. If not, it has been an honor serving with you all." He says this with his last breath then dies. Omega and Jaguar then must decied to use the Relic or destroy it and start a new life somewhere in the Universe. They agree to use the Relic.
