This is a snapshot of Time-Rider in his flying Corvette back in 1977. Over his career Time-Rider has had many flying cars supplied by A.T.T.A. Also notice the slightly longer hair of the era. Not shown here, but they actually had telephone booths, and cell phones were science fiction.

The first Time-Rider vehicle was of course the 57 Chevy which claimed to be from the future, but in reality was sent and controlled by Max the out of time alien living at A.T.T.A.

Max was actually keeping tabs on Time-Rider's activities and communicating through the car while he sat at A.T.T.A headquarters. He would explain later to Time-Rider he thought it was easier if Time-Rider thought the car was controlled by an AI than a alien from a time line that no longer existed.

Hopefully I'll post some more of Time-Rider's vehicles through the decades.

Side note he still to this day has the 57 Chevy along with all his other cars. Comes in handy when he knows he's going to be revisiting the 50's.

So does Time-Rider still have the ability to control time himself or does he now require the cars for time-travel? Or does he have limited ability and therefore rely on the cars so he doesn't drain himself for the major jumps into different times?

His ability is scaled way back from his original time line. He may still have all the power inside, but he doesn't realize it. He retains the ability to manipulate time in as far as his immediate local surroundings. That's what gives him the ability to seemingly dodge speeding bullets. V his great grand daughter does however have the further ability to open up wormholes to change costumes in. She may be able at some later date to venture farther out into time, but hasn't got the guts to do it right yet.

One thing for certain about Time-Rider is that time doesn't necessarily follow the rules when he's around. For instance most people traveling through time will experience physical issues given enough trips unless they are in the car with Time-Rider while he's traversing time.

Yeah, but that was short hair for back then. Smile! I was watching the retro channel last night I guess it made me think of TR in the 70's. They had a cop show on with the Partridge family's David Cassidy. He had bigger hair than most of the girls on there.

That's an awesome car he's got there. And I never thought I'd see Time-Rider with a hairdo like that!

Wait till I put the 80's version up later. I'm thinking he might have a spike hairdo like Don Johnson on Miami Vice season three. Smile!

I used to watch that show a lot back then.
