Its the day of Christmas-eve and Jessica Slade is excited but Savage who lived in her apartment did not. Acculally its not that he doesn't like it, he just doesn't understand Christmas. From what he has observed people suddenly turn nice and exchange gifts and thats Christmas. He watches as Jessica adds decorations to her Christmas tree while singing Christmas Carols. He doesn't care for the carols but Jessica's sweet and soft voice sooths his raging soul. Just he is settling down for a quiet night he hears the cries of a small boy. He puts on his cape and helmet and rushes to the scene. He spots two men dressed in black abusing a small boy. He swoops down and lands a kick to the back of their heads. They get back up saying, "That was a mistake pal but cuz its Christmas we'll let you live if you leave now and mind your own buisness." That wasn't going to happen, Savage lunges forward, grabs a handfull of hair and ripps it out. The two men cry in pain but Savage silences them both with two powerful blows to their heads. Once on the ground Savage helps up the frightened boy. "Why were those men doing this to you?" The boy then said, "I was on my way back to the Orphanage when I heard them talking about hurting Santa Clause tonight." Savage was briefly fimiliar with Santa continued to listen. "I told them they should leave him alone. They told me to leave but I said if they didn't leave Santa alone I would call the police. Then they grabbed me and told me there wasn't a Santa and started hurting me." The child began crying again and it was annoying Savage. "Look tell me where you live and I'll take you home. I'm sure your family miss you." The child responded, "I don't have a family, I live at the orphanage with the other kids." Savage scooped the boy up and took him to the Orphanage. "Here you go kid, try to stay out of allies ." The boy stopped him to ask, "Were those bullies right? Is there really no Santa?" Savage was uncertain on the matter and told the boy that he wasn't sure himself. Then Savage left as the boy said, "Merry Christmas!" Savage couldn't understand why anyone says "Merry Christmas". None of it made sence. He decieded that he would patrol the city before returning to Jessica's for the night. It was quiet and there were no problems for him to handel until he spotted the two men he had beaten earlier. He decieded to follow them to make sure they didn't beat up more children. He followed them to an old wearhouse that was abandoned. He found an open window and snook inside. He followed the voices he heard until he found the source. The two men were being yelled at a tall man in black outfit and wore a mask that covered half his face. "You two Idiots almost ruiend my plans over a boy! I'm warning you if you mess up again... You won't live to see Christmas!" He calmed down then began explaining his plan. "Alright, tonight is the night Old St. Nick shows his sorry red butt to deliever gifts to all the good girls and boys but tonight is gonna change." One of the men then asked, "So what's gonna happen to old Clause?" Their boss then begain explaining, "In 30 mins we are going to the North Pole to hold up Santa and his Reindeer. Once I have turned myself into Santa we will kill both him and everyone else at his Workshop. Then I will ride his sleigh into the world and cause chaos and mayhem until the world hates Santa Clause. After that I will have single handedly destroied Christmas!" The unknown man then let out an evil laugh that sent chills up his henchmen's spines. Savage knew what he had to do, he jumped down and started taking out the bad guys. The Henchmen went down easy enough but their boss did not. "So you must be the Dark hero that everyone in the city is talking about. Well hero allow me to introduce myself. I am SHIFTER!" He then turned himself into a rock monster. Shifter grabbed Savage and threw him into the brick wall. Savage shook it off and turned his attention back to Shifter. He lounged out at him digging his sharp fingers into Shifter. Shifter grabbed him again and threw him in the air. He then shifted into a robot with a laser cannon for an arm. He began blasting at Savage but always missing him. Suddenly one of the rafters came crashing down on Savage rendering him unconscious. Shifter grabbed his men and left. Savage recovered quickly and followed them to the airport. There he secretly boarded their jet. This gave Savage time to form a plan to beat Shifter. They arrive at the North Pole and Shifter leads his men to Santa's Workshop. Savage gets to them before they reach the Workshop. Again takes out the two henchmen quickly but Shifter attacks from behind. Shifter turns into a Polarbear and begins squeezing Savage to death. Savage began to black out but remembered Jessica and the orphan boy. He then used all his to break free and threw a powerful punch to Shifter's jaw. Shifter falls to the ground, holding his broken jaw in hopes of releaving he pain. Savage hears voice behind him and swings around to find elves. One of them said, "Hey nice job! We'll take it from here now... Oh by the way the boss wants to see ya." While the other elves attended to the bad guys, the leader lead Savage to Santa's home. He knocks on the door and is greeted by a plesent grey haired woman, "Come in young man, Santa will be right with you." She lead him into the living room and sat him down in a comfortble chair. "Can I get you some coco while you wait?" Savage repied, "No." She then went into the kitchen. The room was warm and smelled of cookies and coco. Then from the front door enters a Jolly man dressed in red. It was Santa Clause, "Wait there, I'll be right back." He said to Savage. He went into the Kitchen then came back with two silver mugs of hot coco. "Mama said you didn't want any but I brought some just in case you change your mind." He placed the coco in Savage's hands then sits in the chair next to him. "Its ok Savage, you can remove you mask. I know you wear it to hide your face but you don't have to hide it here." Savage was didn't move. Then asked, "How did you know my name and about my face?" Santa chuckled and said, "I'm Santa Clause, I know everyone. Its part of my job. For example, I know that you are struggling with Christmas. I know you don't understand it and so for saving everyone here at my Workshop and Saving Christmas I will help you understand." He took a sip of his Hot Coco then continued, "Most people see it as a time for presents and a time for having to be nice to everyone but its more then that. Christmas doesn't come from a store, it comes from the heart. Its a time for sharing, giving of oneself... putting a smile on someone with a poor soul. Christmas... is something so much more." He paused then rose from his chair. Walked to the fireplace and grabbed a snowglobe and handed it to Savage. Savage was puzzled and Santa said as he sat back down, "Take off your helmet and look into the snowglobe." Savage put his coco down then removed his helmet and waited for a reaction from Santa but he just sat there waiting. Savage then looked into the Snowglobe. At first there was nothing but soon the snow began to spin then revealed a small village with cheerful people walking around in the snow. He saw Jessica, the orphan boy with a new family and many other people that were out sharing christmas. In that moment, he felt something with in him. Something he never felt before. A feeling that made him happy and even drew a tear from his eye. Santa smiled and said, "I think you understand now." Savage was silent then picked up the hot coco and drank it. "Its good, I like it... I like it alot." Santa then said, "Well while you finish that I'll be getting the sleigh ready for take off. After all its almost midnight." Savage finished his coco then met Santa at his sleigh. He went to give Santa the globe back but Santa insisted that he keep it. He then gave him a ride back home but not before they made a stop to see the orphan boy. Savage woke the boy and led him to Santa Clause. Once they left the Orphanage Savage was dropped off at Jessica's where she had been waiting for him. He apologized then gave her the Snow Globe Santa gave him. "I thought you didn't like Christmas?" Jessica said. Savage replied, "No, I just didn't understand it... but i do now." She smiled and gave him a hug Before they went to their rooms, they looked out the window and heard these words from the falling snow, "Merry Christmas to all! And to all and good night!"
