The Lost City of Z is the name given by Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, a British surveyor, to a city that he thought existed in the jungle of the Mato Grosso region of Brazil. Fawcett, his son, and his son's friend Raleigh Rimell vanished in 1925 while on a search for this city. As both Doc and Indy were active in the next decade, it seems reasonable to suppose they searched for the lost explorer and the fabulous city.
