Note: Ape Canyon, located on Mount St Helens, was one of the first recorded incidents of Sasquatch activity, in 1924. There were plenty of footprints, sightings, and sightings in 1950 gave rise to the rumor that a Sasquatch could run 70mph. As this was not completely ruined in the 1980 eruption, it is still a source of several sightings a year!
