I was just thinking the other day after watching Merlin the series on netflix, wouldn't it be a cool story to have Merlin come to the modern world as a young man and then go back to King Arthur's time as a old guy. There seems to be a lot of lore in the movies and so forth that suggests Merlin is at least aware of modern day existence. I'm not sure that I've ever actually read or saw where he has been defined as a time traveler though.
Interesting idea you have of bringing Morgan Le Fey to the 30's to take on Savage. Could Merlin be far behind?
