"Today we honor a hero who needs no introduction. He has saved us on many occasions. He is The Watcher!!!" The cheer for joy as The Watcher flew down to the podium at city hall. "Ladies and Gentleman, I thank you for this honor. I don't feel this is necessary. I use my power to help those who cannot help themselves. I don't feel right about being rewarded for doing what is right but I have come today because the people have asked me too." The crowd cheered for their hero until he asked for them to quite down. "I would like to thank you for all that you have done today and all of your support. I have been around for a long time, sixty one years to be exact. I don't know how long I'll be around. I might live for another sixty one years or I might die tomorrow. Whenever that day comes, I want to leave this world knowing that the next generation of heroes can protect you. So when I am not helping others, I will be dedicating the rest of my time training heroes." Suddenly, Breaveheart comes crashing down at Watcher's feet. He looks up to see Black Skull flying in the air. "I certainly hope so Watcher, because if "The new generation" is anything like Breaveheart there... My life is going to be very boring." The Watcher helps up absent minded hero to his feet. "Are you alright?" Breaveheart looks up to find his childhood hero. "Noooo Way! The Watcher! You are my hero! You are my inspiration." The Watcher cuts him off, "Let discuss this later and take care of Black Skull." Breaveheart's eyes widened, "You mean work with you? I wouldn't want to get in your way." The Watcher smiled and said, "I thank you for your vote of confidence but with a villain like Black Skull, even I am going to need help. What's your name son?" Breaveheart stood up straight and said, "Breaveheart and once we're done I have questions for that fiend to answer." Black Skull then commented, "Ask your question you mindless fool. You could use the education." Breaveheart smiles, "Why thank you, I was beginning to think you were completely heartless." He pulls out a vile of Black Skull's mutagen. "I understand you know what this is?" Black Skull recognizes his mutagen. "What's the mutagen to you?" Breaveheart replies, "It gave me my superpowers, I wanted to thank the good man for helping me realize my dream." A thought comes to Black Skull, and he asks, "How did you come across the mutagen?" Breaveheart then replied, "When I was a boy The Watcher was my hero. I met him for the first time five years ago. This same veil fell on my noggin; The Watcher saw me and carried me to a hospital. Since then I had superpowers." Black Skull immediately connected the dots. "For starters, I have no heart. Second I am the creator of that mutagen. You must have been covered in the mutagen when The Watcher carried you to the hospital. The long exposure to him and the mutagen gave you superpowers. I trust that you have the same powers he does?" Breaveheart replied, "Hey that?s right, I never realized that before. I have the same superpowers as The Watcher. This is a dream come true." Black Skull rolled his eyes. "I really should put you out of your misery but I don't kill handy cap superheroes. Oh and Watcher... If you are going to start training heroes, don't bother with him." Black Skull starts flying away but The Watcher & Breaveheart are right behind him. "As much as I would love to kill them I frankly don't feel like killing today." He pulls out a detonator and activates the bomb that is hidden in the bridge. He presses the button that blows up the bridge and sends cars into the waters below. Our heroes give up pursuing Black Skull and rush to the bridge to save everyone they can. After the day is over, The Watcher talks to Breaveheart. "You did well today Breaveheart and I see greatness in you. You have a few bugs to work out but I think you will make a great hero. In fact, would you allow me to be your teacher?" Breaveheart could not contain his joy and was truly realizing his dream.
