I really like what I'm seeing Deadlaw strikes me as a vigilante who is above the law, probably dissatisfied with the whole system. I like the gritty textures, it makes the reader feel like there is a strong absence of light, everything is hard to see at first, but all the visual information is there, like turning on the lights (a brief second).
I also smile when the story telling is to the point, (already in progress).Tim if you can, please share a little about how you compose these. A little about you techniques without giving us the whole "How-To", do you take the photos yourself, or hunt and gather reference material, etc?
Why did you choose the colors you did for his uniform?

To be honest I was really struggling with the colors of the costume. It's almost impossible to come up with something that looks unique and cool at the same time. I use a combination of Poser and Adobe. I have a little trick I use with adobe sometimes to make Poser images look a little more comic booky. I do take real images sometimes and use adobe to comic book them up a little.
Deadlaw is definitely not like a typical goody good superhero. I'm thinking his main motivation is finding his wife's killer and clearing his name. Catching other bad guys or rescuing citizens is just a nuisance that slows him down he reluctantly has to do or otherwise he gets the guilt trip.
I'm glad you like the darkness of it. The two pages I've done so far I tried to capture like a late in the day kind of time when it's just getting dark. I was kind of worried it might appear too dark.
