Cool, so does this Samaritan character have basically the same level and type of powers as Superman?

The Samaritan can fly and has super strength.He works for the Astrocity Rocket newspaper under the alias of Asa Martin as the Verification Editor. Plus he's the number one hero who has a thing for the number one Heroine Winged Victory. (WonderWoman/Promethea) type charater.
There are also versions of Batman(the Confessor see the book Confessions) and Captain America (the Silver Agent) Plus loads of others.
