Crisis in the neutral zone! A high-level diplomatic conference with Klingon representatives goes awry. As diplomat Kang and his entourage are beamed aboard the Enterprise disaster happens. Kang materializes along with three leather-clad gorilla humanoids, not his Klingon minions. Kang demands to know what trickery the Federation is up to as even those on the Bird of Prey cannot detect their comrades using sophisticated long-range scanners. The initially shocked gorillas soon take a liking to t Kang, as they immediately sense his distain for humans. After several hours, science officer Spock isolates the appearance of an anomaly that occurred during the transporter beaming. He is then able to replicate the occurrence and sets out to beam the gorillas back to whence they came, but not before the visitors pose for a digital photo with their new-found Klingon comrade (as seen in this image). The missing Klingons appear as intended at the instance the hairy humanoids disappear in the transporter chamber. The conference is immediately canceled, though later reports from the Klingons indicate that the lost members of Kang’s committee found themselves on a planet of apes for the duration of their disappearance.

That's cool! Wouldn't it be neat if Captain Kirk led a team to the Planet of the Apes. That would make for a great movie.

That would have been totally amazing to see. And I love the addition of the Klingon commander in there too, because you just know the Klingons would try to horn in on the ape-action! Smile But I think the apes would be too smart for the Klingons. (I love the second ape laughing like that too.)

Tim- I've already completed a companion image with Kirk and some apes that I'll post soon. It's based off the Gorn episode and came out pretty good.
