When I was searching in 3:10 to Yuma in Internet Movie Database, I found out that the actor Luce Rains (who played Marshal Weathers in the movie)

Did a time-travel movie back in 1982 named Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann. It's about a motorcycle champion who goes back to time during the Wild West.

What I was able to read was that the movie sucked so much that in Europe it never went into VHS or DVD.

I hope you enjoyed the very little information I was able to get and like they say the book or rather, the comic are always better then the movie.

I actually saw that movie when I was a little kid. I didn't name my character off of him though. I barely remember it. All I remember is a guy was on a motorcycle and he went back into the west. I hope that movie is old enough not to cause me any copyright issues.

Seems like I read Stan Lee might of got Spider-man's name off some old movie, or maybe there was some old movie named Spider Man or something like that. I know there was a Spider Lady on the old Kirk Alyn movie serials.

Just in case I've been hyphenating Time-Rider to be slightly different name wise. I bet every name in the known universe has been used on something sometime.

Ever see the Philadelphia Experiment? It's based on all the stories of a supposedly real experiment by the navy in World War 2. I watched that one a bunch of times as a kid. It inspired me on the origin of Time-Rider.

I heard about it a battleship that disappeared out of thin air and it had something to do with Eienstein, right?

Yeah, something like that. The USS Eldridge according to legend was supposed to be working on radar invisibility, but something went wrong and the ship really disappeared and some of the men on board appeared briefly in other places on land, and other men were found melted into the hull of the ship. The movie had two of the crew wind up in the 80's.
