I really like the second image, he looks cool but I agree with you about them cheapening death by bringing him back. With the gun and knife I wonder if it's punisher?? He did take off with the suit right? I could see him coming back to get revenge for Cap. __________________"Beware villains for it is Midnight!"

I hope that Captain America comes back, those images look awesome, I just watched a thing on the History Channel about Comic Book history and it was saying how Comic Books with Superheroes fighting wars alongside the USA against other countries and evil people like Adolf Hitler in World War II made people happy and gave them hope about the war ending, so Captain America definitely needs to come back, I'll make a Captain America tribute on my Mannino Infantry website. Click on MANNINO INFANTRY to go to my Mannino Infantry website and see the Captain America Tribute. __________________

I gotta say that I do like the look of Cap's new uniform. It has a modern utilitarian look about it. I can't say that I like the gun and knife though. Guns and knives, to me, are symbols of power and aggression. But on a super-hero they are signs of weakness and insecurity. I do like the story line thats developing in CAPTAIN AMERICA. It should be interesting how this new Cap fits in.

I like the new Captain America suit and the gun and the knife, although I would like it better if it was some type of futuristic gun like in Star Trek, Starship Troopers, Halo, or something like that instead of a pistol, also I don't care much for the knife because it just wouldn't look right for Captain America, a gun is best for Captain America because it looks more like a Super Soldier weapon to me, I also think that Captain America should get promoted after all of the years he's been fighting, he should be General America by now! __________________

I don't think a knife or a gun looks very captain American to me.
Cap is Marve's Superman, he wouldn't resort to eaponary unless it was to save lives--and even then he would always look for another way. __________________

i don't think this new Cap is the guy in training in the CAPTAIN AMERICA:THE CHOSEN miniseries. That storyline I believe is taking place in an alternate universe where Cap is dying. I'm not sure how they would be able to blend the two storylines of a dying cap with an already dead Cap.

I don't know maybe the dying cap is just an unsolved mystery. I was thinking after reading Captain Chosen 3 it would make perfect sense for that army guy Cap's mentally talking to ... to be the next Cap.

I don't understand why you guys think that a gun and knife doesn't look good on Captain America, he was in the military and was a war hero so I don't see how weapons don't look good on him, also he should be General America by now. __________________

Being in the military isn't the point. Cap would never take a life, but why else would he be holding a gun? a Knife is understandable, but a gun? __________________

I don't know. Knives always give me the creeps. I'd rather see a bad guy shot than cut with a knife. Knives create much more blood.

Really? I've always thought Guns were more violent, maybe because you have more of a chance to live with a knife wound then a bullet wound. __________________

I like the gun with Captain America but the knife I'm not so sure about as I stated earlier, even if Captain America would never take a life what about things that are superhuman or not human like aliens, Captain America would need a gun for that, a knife wouldn't do much damage to an alien, also I agree with Tim. __________________

Captain America's sheild is supposed to be the only weapon he'll ever need. it acts as a defense against attacks but in the right hands it becomes the ultimate weapon, capable of disarming an opponent with non lethal force and is also able to put someone down for good. the gun doesnt make sense because Cap beat the beejeezus out of the Punisher because of the difference in personalities and use of force. Bucky has become such a different character than the "gee golly wow....holy nazi weaponry Captain" chump that I aways took him for........now he has become the Winter Soldier, slipping into a nazi base undetected and slitting throats.....the things that Captain America couldn't do..........so in closing....Captain America with a gun and a knife? __________________I think my father might be a skrull
