Well I think we ought to wait till we see the movie before we judge, but at the same time I don't know enough about the new supes to argue for him. He might turn out as good an actor as Christopher Reeve who knows. I hate to think Bryan Singer doesn't have a clue or something. He did a good job with the X-men so why would he purposely goof up Superman with a bad choice? The actor did have to go through auditions. So keep hope alive Midnight Rider. Truth, Justice, and the American Way could still live on.

I don't know about Superman being a wuss, I grew up on superman, and I will admit, some of the stuff from the 70's was lacking.
maybe it would be better if Superman had a little bit of Guy Gardner's personality injected into him though!

Superman's defintely not a wimp. His stories have always been my favorite even over the X-men.

Superman isn't exactly a wuss, but if he didn't have any powers, he wouldn't be anywhere near Batmans level of crimefighting. In fact, in Hush, Batman kicked his ass completely. Good times.

The only superhero to have to deal with four versions of himself at the same time has been Superman. Wuss, I think not. (The eradicator was not playing around). SUPERMAN ROCKS!!!!

 i think the X-Men movies sucked big, i didnt care for them at all. an Chris is a much better Superman, atleast he had more mass on him to make him believable.
Spider-Man has more of a build then this guy.
if it is the same director who did the X-Men the hes gunna srcew it up. if he also directed Batman Forever an Batman & Robin, well, obviously those 2 movies are screwed up.

He didn't do the bat films that was someone else. I'm surprised you didn't like the x-men films though. They weren't as good as spiderman, but I liked them.

i agree with tim, u cant top the spidey films but i still liked the x-men ones. and superman deserves a certain amount of respect being the first superhero ever. this new guy thats acting as superman does look pretty wimpy, though, I'll try not to judge him before i've seen him. and like tim said, he did have to go through auditions, i guess we'll just have to trust whoever did the casting to have picked the right guy.

guys, i have a bad feeling about the supes movie, why the heck would a director (bryan singer) spend 2 movies nearly completely devoted to setting up a third movie said to be the grand finally just to dis it for a gay superman movie

nic pic of supes, and ur right, supes kinda just went with the flow on poweres, while batman, trained himself over the course of about 7 years, as stated in batman begins, and batman #404
i think you take away supes powers, he'd get his butt handed to him by batman, then again, supes has had a lot of situations where he';s gone powerless, and still triumphed.
