Read Time-Rider 16

http://superherouniverse.com/timerider/comicbooks/16/cover_small.jpg

I hope you all enjoyed this latest issue. Took a while longer than usual I think. Please let me know your opinions where I hit the nail on the head, and where I totally screwed it up.

Your opinions are the only thing I have to go on really to make creating these comics worth while otherwise it's looking shooting in the dark.

I'm liking the story, but I gotta get this off my chest a little bit.

You did the same thing I did, we wanted our heroes to join a group and we wrote that a litle too quickly.  We didn't give more depth to our main character not to mention skippin some background stories on our other characters.

Once you finish this storyline, might I suggest doing 2-3 comics of background for a few of the characters that you haven't done yet?

Yeah, you're probably right. There's so many stories I want to do, but putting the pictures together and writing the stories seems to take forever.

I was actually planning on doing some more background for Time-Rider on the next story and maybe a little more on the Samurai Surfer.

I'm contemplating using this alien bit as a way of connecting all the current characters plus maybe some new ones in the future.

I've been thinking about at some point creating a group of teen heroes much like the X-men only have their powers come from the Alien race the Maxitaliens. Perhaps the aliens could have the power to transform into humans and marry into the human race having kids that for all intents and purposes would be mutants, but in this case would have a good excuse to be mutants.

The government would be chasing them down while at the same time the aliens would be after them. I can't help but get ahead of myself. I daydream a lot about stories I'd like to make.

Hey its me the midnight avenger I had to make a new profile for the message board because I forgot my password and i have recently switched internet providers so the forgot password sends to my old email. Anways haven't been  on in a couple of weeks. Went to texas to have surgery on my eyes. I like the story and the alien invasion reminds of of Independence Day where Will Smith's character is now played by Time-Rider.

Keep up the good work Tim

Was it lasik surgery or something more intense. I had lasik a few years back.

You don't know how close I got to have a white house blow up scene like the movie, but I thought that would really screw up the Time-Rider universe. Could still do it yet, and have him time travel to fix it.

It wasn't lasik but it is a newer one called PRK it's actually not as invasive as Lasik. They still use the laser but it doesn't take as long. However the downside is that recovery time is longer. My vision is still somewhat hazy. But the military paid for the the surgery I just had to get myself there and back so it was still a little expensive.

I freaked out when I got mine done. I hate anybody touching my eyes. Felt like I was in one of those horror movies.

Tim, just a thought, have you even considered submitting your work to a comics company? I was browsing Image and since they are creator owned and everything they actually take submissions. Here is the link if you are interested.

It would be cool if you got published

Thanks I have submitted to image before. I'll probably submit again in the future. Right now I just think I need to perfect my work more.

Speaking of work I'm on page 7 now of the next Time-Rider. Don't know when I'll get it out. I need to find a good stopping point, I guess.

So far it involves another planet in the distant future, and the childhood of Time-Rider and Jake aka Samurai Surfer.

Yeah at least you have somewhat of a shot. They don't take writers unless we are part of a creative team which means I would at least need an artistic partner for my stories. Marvel and DC take writers but you know how that goes, it would be writing one of their characters and not my own.

Now that would be cool because we can get more of a background on your characters.
