interesting, it looks like it will connect (or atleast quickly explain) the gap between our time, and that of the "beam me up" era. j.j. abrams was involved on the recent cloverfield movie. i heard sylar was playing spock. i'm glad they're going to the old school characters because otherwise it could be just another star trek movie. but now you'cve got classic characters.
