Miami.
Amidst the summer heat, crime is rampant and the Punisher stalks his prey. But Frank Castle is not the only one seeking kills.
Drawn by the sounds of gunfire, the Predator bounds from rooftop to rooftop, finally gaining a vantage high over a vicious gun battle by the docks.
Bodies litter the pavement and smoke hangs in the air from weapons fire and grenades.
Usng his heat vision, the Predator watches carefully, finally seeing the Punisher stalking his prey behind a large cargo container. The Punisher rolls out, firing a quick burst from his drum-fed M-4. Gangsters go down in a heap, and the Punisher goes on.
The Predator carefully watches the one-sided battle. Sees the stalking of the Punisher
The Predator recognizes the Punisher for a hunter of men as well.
No further combat might have taken place, but after finishing the last drug runner, Frank Castle uses his own night vision to scan the area- and makes out the eery sillouette of the Predator watching form a nearby rooftop.
The Punisher snaps his rifle up and fires off a quick volley of shots- which find their mark. As the Predator steps back from the volley, he targets Castle with his shoulder cannon and fires a warning shot. After all, in the Predator’s culture a hunter must never intrude upon another’s hunt. Perhaps the strange human hunter felt challenged.
The gleaming ball of plasma energy is enough to convince Frank Castle that this new opponent is something far different from the drug runners he came to extinguish. Dropping a flash bang grenade Castle ducks around a corner and sprints for the water.
The Predator watches the small cannister with curiosity- it is too far away to be of any real threat. Then it explodes and the Predator is blinded by the blast.
As Frank Castle dives into the waters of the Atlantic, the Predator bellows in rage and begins firing his plasma cannon randomly, smashing the dock area to glowing bits.
Castle drifts to the bottom of the dock, the weight of his gear carrying him down. Down to his stashed gear: scuba tanks, a dive motor and more weaponry. Castle sheds off the bulk of his weaponry and grabs a plastic-wrapped LAW rocket. Using the scuba gear, he watches the glowing light show above the water.
When the firing eventually stops, Castle cautiously swims to the surface, armed with his LAW and a pair of night vision goggles.
Treading water, Castle watches the dock area closely. His cautious search is rewarded. The Predator is slowly moving around the dock- searching for Castle.
After unwrapping the LAW, Castle extends the weapon into a firing position and takes as careful an aim as he can while treading water.
Intended for piercing the hulls of lightly armored vehicles, the LAW easily blows through the Predator’s half-plate armor. The blast tears the Predator in half and vaporizes it’s green blood.
In the distance, police sirens can be heard. The Punisher abandons his weapons and swims away.
