Chris Evans, the actor who played as the Torch, said that there will likely not be another film in the FF franchise. He said that Marvel may be looking to pick up with the Silver Surfer instead. Personally, I think this is a good move. Perhaps the Surfer will achieve the success that the Fantastic Four couldn't.

I loved the FF movies though. I like movies with a good sense of humor and action combined. I like some movies to be just fun from the beginning to end without all the dramatic stuff. Sometimes you just got to escape the stress and relax, and that's what a fun movie can do.

I'd pay just to watch 2 hours of the Human Torch vs the Thing.

I liked the second film better than the first. I would have liked to see them give it at least one more go. I wanted to see the FF take on Namor, or maybe have them encounter the Inhumans.

They need to focus on their strong points which is action and comedy. I'd keep the action somewhere in the city too. I think it's more exciting and fits the Fantastic Four's personality better.

I guess so. The FF did seem to have more of a comedy element than the other superhero films. But its not definitely over though. I'm just going by what the Torch said.

I wonder since Dark Knight made so much money, does this mean any and all new superhero movies are going to be ultra realistic and dark?

Probably. Marvel may try to bring some of their darker heroes to the big screen. Moon Knight is the only one I can think of that they haven't done yet.

nah, they will probably make a surfer spin-off, but i think another ff movie is inevtiable due to their commercial excess.  those movies were a lot of fun i thought.  a lighter take on the superhero genre.
