Ok sooner or later the actor playing Captain America for the new movie is going to be released.

Who do you all want, or who do you think will get the part?

Saw Casper Van Dien on a episode of Monk this weekend. He has that square comic book jaw going on. He was playing a Navy sailor trying to get Monk's help to catch a murderer. I think he might actually be pretty good for the role.

Michael Shanks too old? I don't know, but you know as proven with Robert Downey Jr. on Iron Man an actor with a lot of experience can really add a lot to a  movie.

Yeah, I guess so, but I know that Captain America was fresh out of high school when he signed up with the military.

tom welling would be an interesting choice but i'm not sure he's white enough. (no racial slurr intended)
i'm not really a fan of matt damon or the bourne movies (mostly thanks to the camera work) but I think he has the captain america look down.

i definitly want it to be an american actor (no slurr intended) because of obvious reasons and he's the only one I could think of that is young enough and still experienced.  when i typed in american actors he came up a couple times too. hmm, he could do it too because ca's your pretty average guy and could be simple enough for damon to pull off i think.  if he's cast you heard it hear first, but they'll probably go with some no name or a non america actor with dyed hair and a hidden accent.

abut a decade ago there would have been a lot more choices.  maybe they should think about owen wilson.  if he buffed up and they made his nose straight for the role he could seriously do it.  no joke, a haircut could do it.  if anyone has seen behind enemy lines they'll know he can do serious.  it was an early movie of his but since then he's been steriotyped as a jokester.  probably because many can do serious well while few can do funny well.

rumors are it will be a big name like downey jr. and ed norton were.  big stars are taking these roles and treatin them serious now, it's great.

What's the deal with Owen Wilson's nose? Did he get in a fight as a kid or what?

I have to say I do like to watch him play in movies. My favorites he was in was Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. He was funny in that Night at the Museum movie too as that miniature Cowboy.

I thought Enemy Lines was pretty good too.

Whoever gets the role I'd like him to be not only a good actor, but somebody that can relate to the average guy. Captain America should inspire everyday Americans.

yeah i love the shanghai movie, they're some of my all time favorites, good action and hilarious.

Steven rogers is a power large man. He was a young guy who went through a transformation, intensive training and frozen all within a year. 6'3 240lbs.

  I think Jason Lewis is the best pick. I heard he is the model for captain america art.

valley and lewis look the part, put can they act...
did anyone see this fake ad with megan fox as wonder woman.  i think if she put on a more (for lack of better word) masculine, or tough persona, she could do it, she looks good.
