Quote: Bluewater Productions has announced a partnership with actor and author William Shatner that will feature four titles based on his science-fiction novels.
Bluewater's William Shatner Presents franchise will include Shatner's The TekWar Chronicles, Quest for Tomorrow, Man O' War and an exclusive new title that Shatner will create specifically for the publisher.
The comics will showcase storylines that will be continuations of the established plots featured in Shatner's books, as opposed to direct adaptations. Shatner -- best known as Captain Kirk from the Star Trek franchise -- will work directly with Bluewater's writers and artists, along with writer/producer Craig Nevius, to develop the concept and look of the comics.
"Working with Bluewater is a great opportunity to bring these novels to a whole new audience," Shatner said.
"Mr. Shatner is a savvy businessman and a creative mastermind," said Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis. "We're honored to be partnering with him and are confident our efforts will create comic books both his fans and ours will embrace."

Just for fun

Anybody remember the TekWar Comics and TV show. I remember being disapointed Shatner didn't play his own character on the show even though Marvel drew him as the character.
Of course I like Greg Evigan from the B.J. and Bear show. He's always fun to watch.
