From Comic Book Movie:

Quote:
"W." star Josh Brolin is in talks to star in "Jonah Hex," Warner Bros.’ adaptation of the DC Comics property.
"Crank" writer-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor wrote the script and will direct.

On Wednesday, both WB and Brolin’s reps denied that a deal was close, but sources said he’s likely to take the job.

Hex, whose face is partly disfigured, is a gunslinger and bounty hunter. The series was hatched by DC in the early 1970s.

The film is being produced by Andrew Lazar’s Mad Chance and Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road. Lazar’s in production on a "Cats & Dogs" sequel for the studio, and Goldsman, who last produced "Hancock," is developing several films for WB including a prequel to "I Am Legend" that D.B. Weiss is scripting, with Goldsman producing with James Lassiter.

Brolin follows the Oliver Stone-directed "W." with "Milk," the Gus Van Sant-directed drama that casts Brolin as Dan White, the San Francisco pol who gunned down Harvey Milk and George Moscone.

Interesting I don't know a lot about the actor.

Me neither. All I know is I won't be seeing "W".

I might rent it out. It's not supposed to be a hatchet job so if I'm bored I might rent it. Don't really rent out very many movies lately anyway. Cost too much when you add it to the already humongous satellite bill every month.

Some people like bush, some people don't.  If we take politics too seriously, we'll end of killing our country and inevitably the world just like in those comics we all read.  We can't afford to be those humans.

As for the movie W. I think it would be funny to see, for those who like Bush or don't.

Was this movie made by liberals with the intent of making conservatives look stupid? I don't know that much about this film.

I think it's safe to say it was made by liberals, but the question of whether or not it's an honest portrayal of Bush is unknown to me anyway till I see it. Depends on if they look at it like history or look at it like a chance to preach liberalism at the audience. If they made an honest attempt to make a non-politically biased movie I probably wouldn't be too offended.

Well this answers the question.

"W." does present Bush as a man unfit to lead. And while Stone cannot resist injecting that theme with moments of sharp satire, he generally casts the president as a deeply tragic figure in far over his head, whose personal demons hold consequences for everyone else on the planet.

Oh well it's to be expected from hollywood.

I think I'll pass. American Carol sounds much better to me.

American Carol is out right now. I can't wait to see that one. It's bound to be hilarious.

That part where the guy called out "Muhammed" was hilarious.
