I totally forgot about this question, and didn't have enough time to seriously think about it before so...

From the "Norton Uncertain about Hulk's Future" thread:

Quote:
What's the best Dr. Who episode you've seen? Might ought to start a new thread with that question though under TV SCI-FI ?

"Father's Day" from the first season, was pretty good. For any sci-fi fan who doesn't watch Doctor Who, I really recommend it. In this episode, the Doctor and his companion, Rose, travel back to the day her father was killed (which was way back when she was a baby.) She saved him, but it was against the Doctor's wishes. As you might guess, changing things that aren't supposed to be changed can have serious consequences.

"Blink" from the third season also was very good. Here the Doctor and his companion, Martha, encounter mysterious statues, who with one glance, can send you back in time (like 60 or 70 years). And there's no way out. It was a pretty interesting story.

Parts 1 and 2, "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday". (season 2 finale). Universes are colliding. Two races of aliens are at war with one another. And it all happens here on Earth.

Does that show still come on the sci-fi channel?

Yes it does. You can also catch it on BBC America.

I don't get BBC America anymore. Got a little cheaper deal on the satellite bill. Still costs me 50 bucks a month. It's outrageous. At least I do get the major networks in HD and the SCI-FI channel.

Have to dvr old Doctor Who.

The first episode of the new incarnation of it is titled "Rose". Its kind of corny, so don't base your impression of the show on that one episode. In the first season, Christopher Eccleston plays the role of the Doctor, but from then on its David Tennant.
