Last night we were introduced to blue prints of the new KARR which looked a lot like a transformer. At first I was really excited when they mentioned KARR thinking they were referring to the original. Now it looks like they are going to overlook the old continuity possibly. I hate that. We've seen the original Michael Knight in the TV movie. We know this is part of the old show's continuity. At least it should be. I don't get it why do these remakes want to overlook all the rich history of their predecessors. That's what made the Bionic Woman fail. Anyway maybe they'll read fan arguments and realize how important it is to fit the new continuity in with the old. That's what gets the fan base excited over and above the other qualities of the show which by and large are pretty good at this point. I want to see Hasselhoff again and I want to see how they got from where they were to this point now.

Maybe they'll have the evil Micheal Knight complete with evil beard pop up.

Oh no I hated the evil Michael Knight. I loved the big truck he had called Goliath, but otherwise that was one of my least favorite storylines in Knight Rider.

I'm a huge sci-fi/action fan, but I never did see this show. Missed the priemere. So how is it? I might try to catch the reruns.

I've enjoyed it so far. I think they have an opportunity to really make this a big hit if they can weave the old stuff in with the new, but even still it's a lot of fun to watch. I think Val Kilmer was the perfect choice to do the voice of KITT. New Michael Knight is a pretty good actor. There's a lot of humor, fast cars, good looking babes. It's the perfect show.

I forgot to comment on the KITT vs KARR episode. I loved it. The battle was a little short, but it was awesome hearing Optimus Prime's Peter Cullen return to do the voice of KARR once again. He first did the voice way back in 82 on the original Knight Rider show on the episode "Trust Doesn't Rust" . Neat idea having KARR transform from a Mustang into a giant robot. Man I hope people realize that the new Knight Rider is all about fun. This show really deserves to be a big hit.

KARR from the 80's episode "K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R." for this second episode featuring KARR he was voiced by Paul Frees, best known as the voice of Ludwig Von Drake in the popular anthology series, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color.
