i don't know if yu gusy already talked about this because i don't know about any comic news til i read it in wizard, but did anyone get one of the recalled all star batmans? it's issue number 10, and they weren't accurately censored. miller likes to take batman to his craziest, most r-rated, foul mouthed, violent toned level ever, but it's censored for all ages. batgirl apparently has a pottymouth whcih is censored with basically a black marker style thing. the words showed through and thus the recall happened making ASB #10 and it's 1:10 ratio variant hot books. the comic shop i went to had the normal non-variant recalled version for 40 bucks, but i couldn't bring myself to pay that much when it wasn't even the rarest one (like it's sold out 1 for every 10 recalled variant). so i just bought the corrected versions of both. i usually don't like buying expensive and slightly rarer variants like this frank quitely one, but i really liked the civer.
tell me what you think and if you've somehow stumbled onto a recalled copy.

the second one is the frank quitely variant.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO OR SHOULDN'T SEE THE CUSS WORDS, DO NOT LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES BELOW. THEY ARE THE REASON IT GOT RECALLED.
if you don't want this on the board tim, feel free to delete the pics, i won't care. but i don't think you can really see through in these scans, i can't tell what exactly she's saying.
i really don't know why they even actually wrote down the cuss words instead of hitting the space bar and then crossing it out, implying the same difference. like how marvel always does the fail safe $#!@ to cuss. what a waste of money for DC. miller really doesn't need these in the book, seldom do they doing anyhting, only occasionally providing humor. but then mille always has been against comics censorship so it oculd be one of those just cause or because i can things. rebel without a cause. that's why i'm glad that the spirit's only going to be PG-13. that's a good sign that he hasn't miller-ized will eisner's classic character too much. __________________"You...complete me."
