Hello all, I have a small kid and I am just getting prepared up to make it good on his birthday which is around the corner. He is a book-lover and likes comics with superman being his fav. Now, I don’t get enough free time and the gift I had like to get him would be a collection of his fav heroes’ comics. There have been some online stores that I had visited but did not find any interesting stuff. Any suggestions to make his present a good one?

If he likes Superman maybe look out for Alex Ross's Kingdom Come or his Mythology (The DC Comicart of Alex Ross) Lots of great images of Superman/Batman and many others plus how he does it.

That’s nice, a comic would be a nice present and when he loves it, it is the best. Online shopping has spread to a wide area and now there are many categories and a wide range of services available for all types pf products that you wish to purchase. For a better range of comics of your selection, you can visit herobits as they have a wide category ofcomics’ collectionto cater to.

Personally I prefer this site, they have lots of stuff to choose from and if there are any problems there customer service is the best.

yeah i usually use mycomicshop.com and occasionally tfaw.com has some good deals.  kingdom come is a classic and i just got mythology cheap on amazon which is a great art book.
i'd say look for trades too as they are more accesible for readability and usually cheaper.  a good one is 'the dc universe stories of alan moore'.  some great superman and batman stories including the epic "last Superman story" and the character defining "batman: the killing joke" are contained in its pages.  all star supermna is also a great, fmaily friendyl superman book available in trade paperback/hardcover.  if he likes spider-man i also suggest ultimate spider-man, which got me turned on to comics in the first place.

pending age kingdom come may be a little over his head, not graphic or violent, just deep.
