The Dec 1, "Self Made Man" episode of the Sarah Connor Chronicles I thought was one of the best stories of the show for it's second season. The story was unique in that it featured a Terminator going back to a time before there ever was a John Connor. Accidentally, a Terminator finds himself in the 1920's, and the story involves a very interesting investigation by Cameron and her friend , a man in a wheel chair. I thought his character was a very nice touch to the show. He played as a very sensitive character vs Cameron's robotic killer nature. Very interesting contrast I thought. Liked the surprise in the wall at the end.

It never occurred to me that Terminators might ever go back past the 80's. It sort of begs the question, why don't they go back farther in time and kill all of John Connor's ancestors? They wouldn't be prepared to deal with a Terminator threat. Perhaps Skynet isn't as smart as one might think.

Even better question why not go back to the time of Adam and Eve and kill them off preventing the human race from ever existing?

Though that would keep SKynet from ever being created as well so they probably wouldn't want to go quite that far.

But could you imagine a terminator fighting against the British during the revolution? Or fighting alongside Ghengis Khan? The possibilities are endless.

Personally I'd like to see Indiana Jones take on a terminator.

No they probably wouldn't want to kill off mankind that would kill them off too.

Indy vs Terminator...now that sounds like the most awesome movie ever made!
