I liked this movie a lot. I'm not really a big fan of sword fantasy stuff as much as pure sci-fi and superheroes, but this movie holds your attention all the way through. The only aspects that kind of bored me were the villain scenes toward the front of the movie. It was a lot more intense I would say than the first. The characters seemed to be in a lot more danger.

There was some comedy relief in the form of a sword wielding talking mouse, but surprisingly that didn't take away from the intensity and drama of the movie.

I've read that the end battle scene was added, and I'm glad they did. You can never have enough action for me in a movie. I also read some of the religious themes were watered down a bit which is a shame because the religious aspects give the characters specifically Aslan the Lion that certain quality that makes them more interesting than the typical movie hero or character. I found the religious themes that were left in the movie made it more fresh less stale than the typical retreaded story lines we tend to get from Hollywood. Of course being a Christian I was looking for those kinds of things within the story. Everyone probably knows the Chronicles of Narnia Books were written by the great Christian author C.S. Lewis if you've heard much about the Chronicles of Narnia.

If you don't buy it, at least rent it. If you love fantasy sword and magic type films then you probably would love to add this one to your DVD collection. It's definitely a movie that you can watch more than once.

Another aspect I really like about this movie is the whole parallel universe part of the story. I kept wondering how so many humans got into Narnia too which I'm glad they explained. It kind of reminds me of Land of the Lost in a way. A place where time and space do not act like they do in the normal world.

Good news Narnia fans. Fox has picked up financing where Disney left off. Disney bailed out after the second Narnia didn't make as much as the first even though it was still in the top 10 movies for the year globally.

Sounds like Disney was just looking for an excuse to get out as profitable franchises aren't exactly growing on trees if you ask me.

Fox and Walden will split the projected $140 million budget. The next movie will be based on the book Dawn Treader.

The goal for Dawn Treader, a more family film-friendly book, is to focus on the magical elements of the first movie.

The franchise's stars, Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley, will reprise their roles alongside Will Poulter (Son of Rambo), who will join the cast as Eustace Clarence Scrubb.

Michael Apted will direct the movie, with Mark Johnson and Andrew Adamson producing.
