IDW also responsible for the Star Trek Comic: Countdown will be handling the Terminator:Salvation Comic Book Movie Prequel.

Currently that makes 3 companies with Terminator comic book projects. Dynamite has a series based on T2, and Dark Horse has an upcoming series based on the original Terminator.

IDW's book will tell a story set two years before the new movie opens, and concerns itself with John Connor who will be between what he was at the end of T3 and the guy he will be in Terminator:Salvation. It's set for release in January 2009.

That's interesting so you think Bale will be even better as John Connor than as Batman?

You know anybody curious as to why John Connor is asking what year it is? And how is it not the future his mother warned him about? What's changed?

The TV series happened and altered the timeline drastically probably not so who knows? But I can't wait to see it. Maybe somehow he was transported back in time? Or maybe everything we've been led to believe since the first movie was all hogwash made up as an elaborate scheme just to get John Conner to act the way some as yet named villain wanted him too?

I'm thinking there could definitely be some time travel involved in there somewhere which is got me really curious how it will turn out.

Eh.
There's no downside in the Batman movies. It's just how sometimes (for me) it's gets sort of annoying hearing his voice as Batman.
Connor has nothing different but plain old action.
And Bale's a good actor for that.
