Guys we got to take back television from the American Idol crowd. It's time sci-fi and action shows reclaim their rightful spot.

So in that spirit I want to remind you guys there are some great shows on like Life on Mars. Time travel to 1973 with this gritty cop drama. The American version is just as good as the British which I saw on the BBC America a couple of years ago.

Action scene from Life on Mars

2. Knight Rider has been off the hook lately. Non-stop action. If this show gets canceled while Dancing with the stars goes on for another year I'm throwing out my TV.

3.Lost is like a sci-fi fan's dream. It's like a major movie stretched into a TV series. I love the time travel stuff!

4.Supernatural = fast car, guns, rock and roll, monsters, need I say more. No sissy crap here.

5. Smallville is still going.

and don't forget about Heroes

Heck I even like Ghost Whisperer and Medium, but don't watch American Idol no more guys please.

American Life on Mars is something I want to watch. Harvey as Gene Hunt is must watch. Classic 70'S cop action

Interestingly enough the actor who played the British Gene Hunt is now playing an American Demon hunter in a new series called 'Demons'.

Robin Hood was a good BBC show too. I don't get BBC America anymore so I don't even know if it's still on.

I almost forgot Chuck rules too!
